Qualifications

RS&H is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer I to join our team in Loveland, CO.

This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the infrastructure team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by preparing project specifications; preparing complete project documents, analysis, and reports; analyzing and interpreting data; performing analyses of design, planning, and impact studies, as well as cost analyses, design requirements, site selection, and limited design layouts; designing complete projects, systems, components, and/or processes; and performs quality control reviews and field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects. This position may also provide technical guidance and assign tasks to junior and support staff for project duration and/or manage discipline and small multidisciplinary teams.

To be successful in this role, you must: * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering * CO PE and be in good standing with a minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in roadway/transportation design, * Proficiency with Microstation/InRoads/ORD/Civil3D * Be knowledgeable of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances. * Have a passion for formulating and solving problems with timely and innovative solutions. * Possess strong oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders. Typical salary range for this position in Colorado is $79,800 to $127,700 and commensurate with experience relative to the position.
