A leading Industrial Manufacturer hiring for a Maintenance Electrician

Shift: 3rd Pay: $24 - $37 (over Time & Double Time available) Location: Florham Park, NJ

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical aptitude and experience in troubleshooting and repairing high voltage electrical systems. This role requires the ability to work independently, solve practical problems, and demonstrate initiative.

Responsibilities

• Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices

• Inspect and install electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers

• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures

• Read blueprints or technical diagrams before performing work

• Speak, read, and write English

• Solve practical problems independently

Essential Skills

• Strong electrical aptitude

• Ability to read and interpret schematics

• Experience in troubleshooting motor control circuits

• High voltage electrical systems expertise

• Preventive maintenance skills

• Conduit installation and repair

Work Environment

Heavy industrial environment. Conditions can be dirty, cold in the winter, and hot in the summer. The facility includes huge industrial presses and machinery.
