Des Moines Public Schools is seeking Building Guest Educators for our hard to fill schools for 2023-2024 School Year.Locations:Elementary: Park AvenueMiddle: BrodyOne position per schoolJob Summary:Implements Board Policy regarding education philosophy/curriculum under the direction of the administration through planning, organizing, managing, interacting with students; establish rapport with students, staff, parents, and community.Successful candidates for this position will possess:
Valid Iowa Teaching License
Substitute Authorization Certificate
Pay Starting: $225/dayAdditional Benefit: 2 personal daysIndividuals considered for this position will need to commit to working a minimum of 4 days per week.Please see attached job descripton for further information on functions of the position along with educational and experience requirements.
