Human Resource Manager

Human Resource Manager for UOP, LLC in Des Plaines, IL

Responsibilities:

Lead and provide broad range HR leadership in support of objectives of the business, drive new human resources initiatives and help develop new HR leadership talent.

Drive real business results and positively impact the P&L and be an emerging business leader yourself.

Work with global teams to lead the execution of strategies and plans.

Realize a transformed culture and overall performance of the business.

Help to envision and facilitate the integrating, standardizing and transforming of our HR work.

Use data to make decisions.

Offer support to and grow our team and the global business teams that we support.

Help in building a performance culture.

Lead talent development and succession.

Drive organizational effectiveness.

Reshape the business and deliver flawless execution and say/do.

Both leading change and building change management capability.

Drive standardization and repeatable process discipline.

Act as a coach and confidant.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Location: Des Plaines, IL

40 hours/week

Employee Referral Fee: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in Human Resource Management. Must have 3 years of experience with the following: experience as an operational HR leader; high say/do ratio; identifying needs, setting plans and executing; understanding HR data and driving decisions using data; technical HR skills, including legal and process compliance; experience in large, global businesses with cultural and organizational understanding; and Generalist background supporting engineering/technical, sales clients, and complex organizations. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week. Up to 5% domestic and international travel required.
