Job Description

A large OEM in Hamtramck, MI is looking for a Quality Planner/Business Analyst to support Quality Operations. This individual will be working with the final process repair team for quality issues with vehicles. This person should be able to understand the quality issues and work with the repair team and logistics team to help direct and provide updates on vehicles. They will also be responsible for data mining and putting together reports. The reports will be done using Excel, power BI, and internal systems. They need to be comfortable walking the manufacturing plant floor and have good communication skills.

Skills and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• 3+ years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment

• Full understanding of vehicles and vehicle repair for quality issues

• Understanding of GM systems (GSIP, GEPICS, VTIMS, CHIPS)

• Power BI experience

• Experience with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

• Data mining experience

• Good communication null
