Job Description:

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Cloud Developer Senior you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Cloud Developer Senior joining our team to support USSOUTHCOM in the introduction and further development of cloud platform adoption/migration.

HOW A CLOUD DEVELOPER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

· Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions.

· Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical expertise on cloud cluster computing techniques and technologies of moderate to high complexity

· Assists customers with data integration and migration efforts, including mapping schemas and defining domain specific ontologies

· Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

· Develop large data technologies, algorithms, and applications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

· Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science

· Required Experience: 7+ years of related experience

· Required Technical Skills:

o Certification Requirement:

§ AZ-104 - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

§ CompTIA Securityo 2+ years of Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimization

o Experience in the design and operation of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases and application systems

o Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security and CI/CD tooling

· Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI

· Required Skills and Abilities:

o Enthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partners

o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail

· Preferred Skills:

o 5+ years’ IT experience

o Preferred Certification:

§ Certified AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure

§ AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions

§ Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
