  • Provide good service standards in accordance with company’s philosophy

  • Consistently strives to offer assistance to achieve high quality service and ensure consistent service standards across team members

  • Lead, motivate and manage store team to achieve targets

  • Building team spirit and motivating the team by bringing out the best qualities of each team member

  • Achieve sales targets and understand sales expectations

  • Understand and interpret store P&L and exercise good operating expense control

  • Analyse sales trend and ensure store revenue and per cap growth

  • Increase team member’s productivity with the implementation of labour matrix

  • Understand store assortment mix

  • Manage good store inventory control & loss prevention measures

  • Partner with Visual merchandising team to enhance store visual display to enhance sales revenue

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and processes for the respective function/department and ensure reviewing and keeping the existing ones updated as part of the ‘continuous process improvement’.

  • Manage implementation of relevant electronic systems to bring efficiency and effectiveness existing processes.

  • Set objectives/ KPIs/ milestones for the respective department/ function and conduct appraisals for direct reports on Electronic Performance Management System.

  • Ensure that team members are provided learning and career development opportunities by identifying successors within the team, preparing them for the next accountable roles and recommending them for external trainings whenever required in consultation with HR Department.

  • Ensure that productivity and service delivery of the department is improved on continuous basis by keeping team members motivated and retained.

  • Know, Ensure and Follow compliance of all Health and Safety procedures and processes by oneself and the team members as stated by the municipality and the company.

  • Support the management by ensuring the attendance of department team members for the completion of required trainings for health and safety compliance required.

  • Report sickness / illness that occurred to oneself or to any person in the team. Including those unsanitary and unhygienic conditions. That may potentially affect performance and productivity, safety and welfare while performing the work, spread or infect others and/or cause inconvenience to other guests.

  • Participate in company activities with the objective of improving readiness to emergencies. Awareness to health, safety and environment and enhancing the work life and employee welfare.

  • Prevent accidents / incidents to happen by promptly reporting the presence of hazards and risks, unsafe acts and Insafe conditions, and escalate issues and concerns at the work place to immediate superiors or to persons in the authority who can assist in addressing with appropriate and timely actions thus preventing them to worsen, complicate or magnify into unmanageable huge proportions.

  • Adhere to fire safety and emergency evacuation procedures, including assisting the guests when evacuating. By exercising the “duty of care”. As moral and legal obligation to protect the guests, staffs, contractors, vendors, suppliers, third party partners and all other persons within our care from harm or loss when they are exposed to our activities and using our services, with watchfulness, attention, caution, and prudence that a reasonable person in all circumstances would.

  • Follow strictly the rules and regulations set by the company to protect the lives and welfare of the persons involved in the business processes, including the protection of property and environment from damages and other form of losses.

  • Commit to safe systems of work by adhering to agreed processes that are put in place, which can include, but not limited to those in the approved manuals, policies, procedures and SOP’s and thus it shall be everyone’s responsibility to know and understand thoroughly these systems and processes, execute properly an avoid short cut.

  • Provide, as afar as reasonably practicable, the highest level of protection, against harm or loss from hazards and risks to health, safety and welfare, of oneself and of the persons working under own’s authority.
