THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Hotel Surveyor within CBRE’s Hotels & Tourism team, you will play a key role in supporting seniors with the valuation of hotels, resorts and other hospitality and tourism assets across the UAE, KSA and other geographies in the MENA region.

As part of these assignments, you will be responsible for gathering and analysing data, research and analyse market trends, competitor activity, economic factors affecting the hospitality sector, participate in client meetings and presentations (as needed) undertake valuation report writing as well as work on valuation models for hotel and tourism assets.

You will be working in multinational and multidisciplinary project teams and provide high quality services to our clients.

Project Work

  • Provide support to our hospitality valuation service line across the Middle East and Turkey, with a focus on UAE and KSA;

  • Perform various tasks of valuation and consulting assignments and ensure that deliverables are presented on-time and in line with / above client expectations;

  • Conduct valuation assessments, including supply and demand analyses, benchmarking analyses, key performance indicators and market views and outlooks;

  • Perform financial analyses, including detailed P&L projections for hospitality assets (revenue and cost assumptions, financial assumptions), and run financial models;

  • Supports the team in the preparation of valuation reports;

  • Conduct other tasks as required;

  • Will receive guidance and training from senior team members on various aspects of assignment execution and report / presentation preparation through either on-the-job training or formal training sessions.

Client Relationships & Business Development Support

  • Participates and supports in client pitches, presentations and workshops;

  • Keeps eyes open for new business opportunities through personal / company networks;

  • Starts building client relationships on respective levels;

  • Supports the development of the wider CBRE business through engagement and collaboration with colleagues from other departments while raising the clients awareness of the CBRE brand.

OUR IDEAL PERSON IS SOMEONE WHO:

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with an RICS accreditation to continue to APC or is recently qualified, ideally with a hospitality focus;

  • Previous real estate / valuation experience with emphasis on strategic advisory, development advice, financial analysis or hospitality is a plus

  • Is fluent in English, verbal and written with Arabic and other languages being a plus.
