Job Title: Part 1 Architectural Assistant

Location: 3rd Floor Connaught House 1 Burlington Road Dublin 4 D04 C5Y6

Reports to: Director of Architecture

Key Responsibilities

Assisting in the development of architectural designs under the supervision of senior architects.

Creating detailed drawings and 3D models using computer-aided design (Revit) software.

Conducting research to support the design process, including researching building codes, materials, and construction techniques.

Helping with the preparation of design proposals, presentations, and reports.

Assisting in the coordination of project documentation and managing project databases.

Contributing to the development of sustainable design strategies.

Assisting in site analysis, including surveying and site visits.

Experience & Skills

Working towards a degree in Architecture and completion of RIBA Parts 1 or 2.

Proficiency in Revit, Photoshop, InDesign and the like.

Strong design and visualisation skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to communicate ideas effectively.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Knowledge of building regulations.

Familiarity with architectural trends and practices.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to design.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

A passion for architecture and design.

Work Experience:

Previous experience in an architectural practice is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.
