The Technical Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the technical aspects of various projects within the organization and will play a critical role acting as a bridge between technical and non-technical aspects of project and program management This role involves coordinating among different teams, ensuring that projects align with OPEN organizational goals, and delivering results on time and within budget and communicating status and updates effectively with all stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

o Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion.

o Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.

o Coordinate with different teams (engineering, product, enterprise teams, etc.) to ensure project objectives are met.

2. Technical Oversight:

o Understand technical requirements and challenges of the projects.

o Ensure the technical feasibility and resource availability for projects.

o Monitor and report on the progress of technical projects.

3. Stakeholder Communication:

o Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

o Communicate project status, risks, and changes to all stakeholders regularly.

o Lead meetings and discussions related to the project.

4. Risk Management:

o Identify potential risks and dependencies across projects.

o Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.

5. Process Improvement:

o Implement best practices for project management and technical development.

o Continuously evaluate and improve project management tools and processes.

6. Team Leadership:

o Provide guidance and support to OPEN Team

o Ensure team members have the necessary resources and support.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role in delivering software.

• Strong experience with SDLC, Agile and project management principles.

• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a related field.

• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile).

• Experience with specific project management tools and methodologies.
