Main Responsibilities

This includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Will manage and oversee GPS tracking system

  • Will respond to both company drivers and sub-haulers and coordinate loads, drivers and assets.

  • Customer service for the region.

  • Facilitates communication between customer service, logistics and traffic.

  • Will ride with CDL drivers from time to time

Main Responsibilities

  • Optimizes material and human resources by giving priority to internal resources for the smooth execution of jobs: collects and consolidates the requirements in material resources, optimizes the exchanges between jobs, manages the weekly and daily schedules, orders the external resources, monitors and controls the checking, assists in implementing warehousing, distribution, inventory management, or related strategies, etc.

  • Participates in the improvement of the equipment utilisation rate (TUM)

  • Participates in forecasting the internal workshop rental income and external rental expenses of the establishment

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and legal standards: ensures compliance with transport regulations, ensures that skilled workers and temporary workers are authorized for the tasks assigned to them

  • Participates in cross-functional tasks: monitoring fuel consumption, telematics, transport logistics, etc.

  • If management, ensures the exchange interviews with truck drivers

  • If logistics aspect: management of carriers, coordination of dispatchers, etc.

Requirements

  • Vocational or technical certificate in related field or equivalent in training and experience.

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures and operations related to asphalt installations and construction.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office.

  • Knowledge of DOT requirements and policies.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time

  • Ability to lift and move light to moderate weight objects

  • Ability to work in fast-paced noisy environments

  • Good vision and hearing for effective communication and coordination

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
