Senior Training Specialist
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Energy Sales Enablement team. We are looking for a Senior Sales Enablement Specialist to coordinate, manage and execute the current sales training programs and develop strategies for implementing improved sales performance. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to make sound decisions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, expert selling, interviewing, and presentation/training skills, with a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently and on self-directed tasks are necessary.
Coordinate, manage and execute the current sales training programs and progress strategies for implementing improved sales performance. To include:
Management of and continuous development of sales onboarding programs.
Development and administration of tiered continuous training programs for entire sales force.
Expand, develop and deliver curriculum of robust sales content for a varied audience that increases customer engagement, sales proficiency and volumes sold.
Develop and administer assessments at each sales tier training level to properly build and engage salesforce.
Organize, market and facilitate training venues, maximizing attendee goals.
Orchestrate round table discovery sessions gaining insight into sales training needs.
Ride along with sales team to stay up to date on market needs.
Assist in building, developing training curriculum geared a variety of targeted groups
Coordinate with product areas ensuring coursework is kept up to date.
Coordinate administrative duties as it relates to the Energy Sales team.
Travel up to 50-60% at times to customer sites to deliver training.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Basic Qualifications: (required)
5 years of Sales, Marketing, and/or Product Management to include;
3 years of Training and Development
Ability to travel up to 50-60% at times and work extended hours to meet business needs
Preferred Qualifications: (desired)
Previous Sales Enablement or Training background with a department of over 25-50 personnel
Exceptional presentation skills
Action selling certificate must be achieved within 6 months of hire
