Job Title: Inventory Specialist $19/hr
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in utilizing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of inventory control within our organization and our warehouse environment. The Inventory Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory counts, issuing parts for work orders, and ensuring efficient and organized warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Supervise and plan all activities related to inventory control in the organization or warehouse.
- Issue parts to work orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct regular and systematic physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all incoming items are appropriately received and documented.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the integrity of stored items.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
- Collaborate with various departments, including purchasing, logistics, and production, to streamline processes and address inventory-related challenges.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Specialist or similar role.
- Familiarity with using MRP systems for inventory management.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory management.
