The Sr Manager, OTC WHSE/DSD Business Solutions is to lead and manage the OTC business team to deliver on the strategic visions and tactical requirements, supporting internal and external touch points for the North American Region. The role will utilize Project Management and Lean Principals to provide continuous improvement upgrades while insuring no risk to internal Policy and accounting principles. The leader needs depth of knowledge in warehouse and DSD management processes & associated technology with a strong continuous improvement aptitude driving value added support services. In addition, this role will oversee projects acting as a cross functional "integrator" of capabilities from scope gathering, blueprint, realization, testing go live, and change management phases, or the life cycle of an implementation. They will need to understand the entire Order to Cash Cycle, DSD processes, and be well versed in SAP and S4Hana. Accountable for documentation and updates to processes, SOPs & Training.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Be accountable for warehouse, transportation, international logistics (import/export) and co-packing operations

  • Ensure the implementation of the business plan by delivering a consistent service level, adapting the supply chain to the demanding and changing customer environment and ensuring sufficient operational capacity to deliver business needs

  • Be accountable for delivering logistics operational cost budget, ensuring that best-in-class controls and governance are in place

  • Foster, initiate and lead continuous improvement programs that reduce cost and our carbon footprint and improve the service performance of the operation

  • Ensure successful project implementation

  • Select, manage and develop long-term relationships with third-party service providers

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety, quality, food defense and legal requirements and policies

  • Establish a business continuity plan for logistics operations.

  • Support best-practices sharing and adoption

  • Solid background in logistics with experience leading operations in an FMCG/CPG environment

  • Team leadership experience, with proven ability to build effective teams and develop people

  • Strong collaboration skills with strong business and financial acumen and the ability to forge senior level strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Strategic thinking plus excellent presentation, communication, influencing and motivational skills

  • Strong negotiating skills with ability to negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groups

Education / Certifications:

Bachelors Degree is required

Job specific requirements:

-Order to cash background is required

-7+ years of experience in Customer Service and Logistics

-Experience in managing multi-functional organizations

-SAP ECC and S4Hana OTC expertise with understanding of finance, sales, procurement - 7+ Year

-Strong DSD Background - 7+ Years

-Ability to effectively work under pressure, managing multiple and changing priorities with strong achievement and results

-Strong influencing and communication skills, with informal teams along with direct staff and ability to lead geographically diverse teams

-Demonstrates leadership strengths, comfortable with navigating and managing change

-Ability to work on large scale projects

Up to 25% travel

Work schedule:

Hybrid with coming into the office in East Hanover
