BRECOflex CO., L.L.C. Maintenance Technician in Eatontown, New Jersey
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining the overall maintenance of the building and grounds as well as production equipment. This role achine and facility preventative maintenance and repairs, workshop organization, and cleaning in production. Assists with the coordination and overseeing work performed by vendors. Maintain compliance with all procedures, policies, and regulations and ensure timely response to regulatory issues and inspection findings. Able to work with minimum supervision. BRECO flex CO., L.L.C. is an ISO 9001 certified company. This role is responsible for learning, understanding, and demonstrating ISO 9001 standards through daily work activities.
Skills and Experience:
5 or more years’ experience performing repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment and facilities
Knowledge of Lock out/Tag out process and ability to perform correctly
Practical hands-on experience repairing electric and mechanical equipment
Basic welding, plumbing, electrical, metal and wood fabrication experience preferred
Experience in manufacturing preferred
Experience in operating a manual lathe and mill preferred
Experience in electrical troubleshooting preferred
Experience with HVAC a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective time and project management abilities
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Job Functions:
· Perform general facility repair, improvements, and upgrades not requiring specialized skills or licenses including but not limited to:
o Doors
o Drywall/Painting
o Plumbing
o Minor HVAC
o Minor roof
o Compressed air system
o Assembly
· Perform machine repair, improvements, and upgrades not requiring specialized skills or licenses
o Electrical
o Plumbing (air/fluid)
o Hydraulic systems
o Mechanical components
o Shielding
o Production Fixturing
o Relocation
· Move production material through facility
· Forklift experience required
· As assigned, clean production areas not covered by cleaning vendor contract
· Maintain organization of general shop tools and supplies
· Assist with organization of department tools and supplies
Physical/Environmental:
· Must be able to lift 75 lbs. to waist height.
· Standing all day (90% of shift) with ability to move about the manufacturing area
· Manual dexterity
· Hand eye coordination
· Manufacturing Environment, inclusive of wide temperature swings
