Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Construction Inspector to join one of our Engineering and Construction clients.

We have openings for construction inspectors in Edison NJ to support a lead line service replacement project. The inspector is expected to be onsite from 7 AM - 3:30 PM working alongside the general contractor to document all maintenance and installation services provided around water lines. This includes reading construction drawings/specs, ensuring compliance with health and building codes, tracking installation of the water mains and copper lines, tracking bid items, and thorough documentation via daily field reports with photo attachments. It is required that this person be reliable, punctual, a good communicator & has the ability to showcase a history of strong documentation skills.

*A valid driver's license, clean background check and drug test is required to be considered for this position.

Skills and Requirements

• 2+ years of construction inspection experience

• OSHA 10 Certification

• Excellent communication

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to read construction drawings/specs

• Valid driver's license - Bachelor's degree null
