Major/Essential Functions:
Provides medical education to medical students/residents
Participates in research activities and/or projects
Performs a wide variety of ophthalmologic surgical procedures
Provides in-patient and out-patient care
Provides on-call coverage, as scheduled
Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Statement of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Required Qualifications:
M.D/D.O.
Successful completion of ACGME-accredited residency training in Ophthalmology
Successful completion of additional training in glaucoma surgery
Texas Medical License or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas
