Description

A Robert Half client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team based in Addison, Illinois. This key role involves leading various HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, professional development, retention strategies, training initiatives, and long-term HR planning. You will collaborate with senior leadership to align human resources practices with business objectives and drive a supportive, performance-oriented workplace culture. This is an onsite position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the recruitment process, from creating job postings to managing interviews.

  • Develop and implement onboarding and offboarding processes, performance reviews, and improvement plans.

  • Design and execute HR strategies focused on employee retention and career growth.

  • Promote a positive workplace culture that motivates and values team members.

  • Establish an employee recognition program to highlight exceptional work and commitment.

  • Evaluate and manage benefits and compensation packages to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.

  • Handle employee relations, ensuring a constructive and collaborative work environment.

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and best HR practices in all policies and procedures.

  • Launch and manage training programs for employees, including leadership development and coaching.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

  • Facilitate clear and timely communication on company matters.

  • Provide support for payroll and benefits administration.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in Human Resources, guiding teams and managing HR functions.

  • Expertise in using ADP Workforce Now or similar HR software systems.

  • In-depth knowledge of benefits administration and a solid grasp of employment laws and regulations.

  • Proven track record of ensuring HR compliance within corporate environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to enhance employee relations and foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Experience in designing and implementing HR policies and procedures to align with business goals.
