Job Description

Insight global is looking for a Network Test Engineer for a large telecommunications employer in Englewood, CO. This engineer will be joining a growing team who is responsible for the testing and certification cable industry equipment including customer premise equipment, cable modems and routers. This team is a lab based groups and spends 75 percent of their day hands on in the lab working with the equipment and the other 25 percent documenting lab documents and procedures. On a day to day basis this engineer will be collaborating to multiple teams to help resolve issues and test tickets. Strong communication skills, strong networking fundamentals and prior telecommunications experience is highly desired. This position offer the opportunity for upward mobility and is hybrid 3 days per week in Englewood, CO

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of professional networking/ telecommunications experience

Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, and FTP protocols, Route/ Switch)

Prior experience with customer premise equipment, cable modems and routers

Basic/fundamental knowledge of DOCSIS or other RF technologies

Strong communications skills and desire for growth CCNA certifications

Previous lab experience null
