Have you recently graduated with your Accounting degree and looking for your first corporate job, our Staff Accountant roles are great for getting your foot in the door with a large and fast growing company. BrightSpring Health ServicesStaff Accountantis responsible for supporting the Finance and Accounting department’s day to day functions. In addition to partnering with the Finance and Accounting department, Staff Accountants will work closely with our leadership team by preparing journal entries of general accounting transactions and analyzing accounting records used my management to assist with end of the month closing process.
This is an on-site position. Applicants should live in or a comutable distance to Englewood, CO
*Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business days
Responsibilities
Performs account reconciliations, trend analysis, and analyzes for completeness
Researches information requests and responds to issues involving general ledger accounts
Reconcile corporate balance sheet accounts and perform analytical reviews of monthly activity
Assist in the preparation of corporate schedules for annual audit performed by external auditors
Prepares journal entries, generates reports, and participates in related monthly accounting activities to ensure timely ledger close
Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures
Assists in special projects, as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
One to two years accounting experience preferred
Computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and related accounting/payroll systems. Knowledge of Oracle preferred
Knowledge of General Accounting Principles
Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
A working knowledge of current industry trends, standards and practices
Exercises independent judgment in carrying out the details of the work according to applicable regulations, company policies and procedures
Ability to utilize new tools and technologies in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to multi-task
Ability to provide accurate and efficient service under the stress of constant deadlines

Salary Range
USD $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 / Year
