DESCRIPTION OF WORK Our enthusiastic and dedicated nursing staff provides 24-hour care, seven days a week. From helping our residents prepare for their day to assisting them to participate in exciting activities, you will play a huge role in their day. Through this day-to-day contact with our residents, you will have the ability to positively impact their quality of life by providing the best possible care.

This position is a starting step to a Nurse Aide position. Upon completion of an 8-hour training course and successfully passing the competency exam, the 16-hour classroom course, and an 80-hour orientation program, you would promote into a Nurse Aide position.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment After completion of day shift training (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch), work hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:30 PM), working every other weekend, with 30-minute lunch. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirement: No previous experience needed; training provided. Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required): Willing and able to work in Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania Willing and able to work 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM), with rotating days and weekends Complete an 8-hour online training course prior to hire and provide a certificate Work experience caring for geriatric or physically ill individuals At least 18 years of age A high school diploma or equivalent Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
