JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Black School of Business at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, seeks a student for our Graduate Assistantship program for the 2024-2025 academic year. This assistantship, which begins in May 2024, provides full tuition as well as a monthly stipend for graduate students admitted into the program.
This position will assist the Associate Director of The Black School of Business with:
Outreach and student recruiting events
Coordinate the preparation of newsletters for each undergraduate major
Assist in the curricular review process
Other projects that may arise
The graduate student will work directly with faculty, administrative staff members, and external stakeholders in event organization
As such, the ideal candidate must be:
Outgoing
Professional
Detail-oriented
Have experience with event planning
Tremendously organized
Comfortable with public speaking in various settings
Graduate Assistants must be enrolled at Penn State Behrend as a Graduate Student working towards advanced degrees in Business Administration, Manufacturing Management, or Project Management.
