VCA Delta Oaks Animal Hospital in Eugene, OR is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our one- of- a kind 4 doctor general practice.

Flexible Scheduling: We offer full-time opportunities with flexible schedules that fit your lifestyle. 4 x 10 hour shifts.

Compensation: Pay range is $ 17 -21/hr and is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities available.

What You’ll Do: As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our dedicated team, ensuring that every patient receives exceptional care in a clean, comfortable environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the entire veterinary staff with daily tasks.

• Keeping treatment areas and exam rooms fully stocked and sanitized.

• Assisting in the restraint of animals during exams and procedures.

• Monitoring and reporting any health concerns to senior staff.

• Keeping accurate patient records and sterilizing equipment.

• Assist with Dentals, Surgical procedures, and post-operative care

• Assist in the collection of samples (blood, urine, etc.), administer medications as directed, and fill medications.
