Aston Carter Payroll Specialist in Eugene, Oregon

We are partnering with a local Eugene OR company on a exciting Payroll Specialist position. This is a direct-hire, permanent position that offers great benefits, room for growth/career advancement, and the opportunity to work with a team of collaborative rockstars!

Description:

  • Process payroll semimonthly for employees using ADP

  • Collaborate with accounting and HR on resolutions for payroll cycle discrepancies

  • Provide HR with payroll processing reports for approval

  • Ensure that payroll calculations, withholdings, and deductions are done correctly

  • Answer employee payroll questions as necessary

  • Validate employee hours

  • Track bonus payouts and commissions

  • Troubleshoot payroll errors

  • Create final paychecks and process terminations

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of payroll processing experience

  • Experience working with ADP, ideally Workforce Now (ADP WFN)

  • Strong attention to detail
