Information Assurance Support Officer - IASO

JANUS Research Grouphas a new opening for an Information Assurance Support Officer supporting the Joint Counter UAS University and the Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) on Fort Sill, OK. Their mission is to provide the Army with combat developments, training developments, and institutional training; participate in the force structure process; determine requirements and influences systems development, acquisition, and fielding processes for the Field Artillery and Air Defense Artillery Schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Fort Sill NEC for email accounts and access for students.
  • Monitor system performance.
  • Remedy trouble tickets and resolve technical issues.
  • Implement testing of the systems and data backups.
  • Vulnerability management.
  • Perform software/hardware upgrades.
  • Administer Army Network privileges as required for student access.
  • Trouble shoot equipment and provide customer service for the JCU personnel and students.
  • Both classroom and staff automation equipment.
  • The daily operations of all Enterprise Classroom Program (ECP) facilities, to include the daily preventive maintenance of classroom equipment and performing upgrades required to both instructor and student computers.
  • Ability to provide services in support of the governments use of livestream platforms for FCoE and FS virtual events to include fixed or mobile requirements. Support includes operation of livestream computers, cameras, and sound devices.

Qualifications:

  • An active Secret security clearance
  • Security+ Certified
  • In accordance with (IAW) Department of Defense (DoD) 8570.01 contractor personnel shall be Security Plus certified and have passed one of the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) exams within 90 days of TO award. The MCTS Examination the government prefers is MD-100 Microsoft Windows 10, or MD-101 Managing Modern Desktops or MD-102 Endpoint Administrator.
  • Knowledge of DoD 8500.1 (Department of Defense Information Assurance Policy) and DoD 8500.2 (Department of Defense Information Assurance Implementations).
  • Knowledge of AR 25-2, Army Cybersecurity.
  • Must be able to have the ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb/work at heights of 20 feet.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to explain solutions to users with a basic working knowledge of computer systems.
  • Ability to work effectively, and contribute positively, as a team member within a fast-paced environment.
