JANUS Research Group, Inc. Wargame Rapporteur in Evans, Georgia

Target salary range: [$20 -$25 per hour]. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Part-Time-On-Call (PTOC) Rapporteur position supporting the Army Futures Command, Futures and Concept Center, Future Warfare Directorate (FWD). Duties include: Provide direct support to the Lead Event Planner, and Administration team. Assist event preparation and post event breakdown of venue location. Provide administrative support during events in the role of rapporteur. Attend events and act as a recorder taking fast, accurate notes of the conversations and issues during the meeting.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Applicant must be able to travel unaccompanied to US locations supported by the FWD mission on a monthly basis for periods of 3-21 days. Must be able to move, carry, and operate personal computer equipment and related material. Preferred experience working with high level military and government officials. Must be able to listen and type simultaneously, follow along during the meetings, and produce coherent records of the event.

Minimum Job Requirements

Applicant must have a current SECRET clearance.

Associates degree or higher (preferred).

Must be proficient in common desktop applications. Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Applicant must be able to maintain the necessary security clearance to perform all tasks and events up to the SECRET level.

Travel:

  • 100%. All events held at the Army War College in Carlisle, PA
  • Two 2-week events and one 3-week event scheduled per year
  • Potential for additional events per customer requirements
