Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for its food service operations at Greenwood House , an assisted living and skilled care facility located in Ewing, New Jersey. This Chef Manager will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and be a hands-on manager. Will report to the General Manager and supervise, train and mentor approximately 6 cooks. The typical shift will be 5:00am - 2:00pm or 10:00am - 7:00pm may vary with some weekend coverage.

The successful candidate will:
oversee daily operations of the kitchen;
have a background in food production with strong cooking skills;
handle ordering and inventory;
ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality;
have high expectations for the quality of food and presentation;
have the ability and willingness to mentor and train employees; and
knowledge of Food Management Systems/Software is preferred.
