Strengthening Families Program Supervisor
Location: Fairmont, WV
Position Summary
This position works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families served. This position works closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community. The Strengthening Families Program Supervisor will oversee assigned staff and ensure compliance to the program’s contractual guidelines. Program will serve Marion, Monongalia, Harrison, Preston, Taylor, and Barbour Counties.
Compensation: $50,000 annually

Responsibilities
The Program Supervisor position may include the following, as well as other duties assigned:
Provide administration coordination for program contracts while aggressively seeking the growth and expansion in the local market(s) through relationships with key stakeholders.
Coordinate all intake services, initial paperwork, and documentation.
Maintain productivity standards on a monthly basis.
Work collaboratively with other NYAP programs and staff throughout the organization.
Submit weekly reports to the Program Manager.
Perform all duties in accordance with personnel policies and the program’s fiscal guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
Two years’ direct experience in the field of human services.
Relevant experience working with individuals being served through the child welfare and/or juvenile justice system.
Must be knowledgeable of group facilitation/mediation practices and principles
Training, education, and/or experience related to the following:
Family facilitation, mediation, and/or conflict resolution
Strengths based assessment and planning
Communication and ability to relate to diverse groups and manage interpersonal conflict
Other Skills
Some travel is required
Must be open and willing to work non-traditional work hours as well as on-call responsibilities
Must be able to embrace working as a diverse team both effectively and respectfully with persons of any background, race, color, religion, sexual orientation, ability, national origin, or culture
Provide excellent internal and external customer service
Must possess good verbal, listening, and written communication skills
Driving and Vehicle Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Reliable personal transportation
Good driving record
Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,00/$300,000 bodily injury liability
