Broadcast Engineer
KVLY/KXJB, a #1 NBC/CBS/CW/MeTV/HandI/The365 powerhouse in booming Fargo, North Dakota is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable broadcast engineer to join our technical team. The Valley News Live Media Group is composed of market-leading digital and connected TV properties, KVLY (NBC), KXJB (CBS), The Fargo CW, MeTV, Heroes and Icons and The 365. Our coverage area stretches north and south from the Canadian border to the South Dakota line encompassing half of North Dakota and a third of Minnesota.
Successful candidate will join an experienced, veteran team of broadcast engineering professionals responsible for maintaining the technical infrastructure of a TV station. Duties include installation and maintenance of equipment specific to the television broadcasting industry, including transmitter/RF systems, satellite antennas and a variety of digital video and audio processing equipment. This is a hands on job, applicants will use tools and test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Additionally, this position will include performing some IT-related tasks. Job responsibilities are diverse and dynamic, qualified candidates should have a natural curiosity and interest in learning new skills. Opportunities for advancement to management exist for the right candidate. Please note- the primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to the duties listed above.
