Join our dynamic team in a key role as a Food Process Operator, where you'll play a crucial part in the operations of our client's fermentation and downstream processes. By joining our diverse, cross-functional team, you will engage in a variety of activities, from operating an array of process equipment to executing meticulous cleaning and sanitation protocols, collecting and analyzing samples, and ensuring flawless record-keeping.

Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment such as tanks, fermenters, pumps, blowers, and more, ensuring seamless process flow.

• Uphold strict cleaning and sanitation standards to meet sanitation programs and manufacturing practices.

• Collect samples for a comprehensive range of tests (physical, analytical, microbiological) and maintain precise data records.

• Document operational procedures and equipment maintenance logs with accuracy.

• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance knowledge and skill set in equipment and process operations.

• Comply with all safety protocols and report any concerns or unsafe practices immediately.

• Work comfortably in various environments, including confined spaces, elevated areas, or under extreme temperature conditions, with appropriate safety gear.

• Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with process technicians and supervisors.

• Provide support for broader plant initiatives as required.

• Handle additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Qualifications:

• A least 1 year of experience in fermentation, food processing, or a similar industrial setting.

• A strong sense of teamwork, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and proficient in collecting data, maintaining detailed documentation, and accurately recording information.
