Job Description

Sales Support/ Logistics Specialist – Fargo, ND/Minneapolis, MN

Essential Job Functions:

The position is responsible for Logistics, Project/Item Production Management and Sales Support Duties. The candidate must be well organized, have strong attention to detail, work closely and collaboratively with internal team members and external vendors, and be self-motivated.

Duties:

Work with approved internal and external freight carriers to support multiple modes of transportation including FTL and LTL freight, with back up duties for hopper freight

Determine the best freight vendors to use, and best possible routes/rates from origin to destination

Communicate and coordinate item Production Mix orders with 3rd party processing vendors, including entry of Production Mix orders in our system

Interact with Co-manufacturers, Customers and Suppliers concerning general inquiries, orders, shipments and products

Collaborate with Inventory Managers to optimally allocate inventories, and supply future business demand

Verify orders for correct pricing and delivery dates, completed orders paperwork including QC documents, bills of ladings

Work with the Fargo warehouse and 3rd party warehouses on order fulfillment

Support the Sales Team as needed

Proactively work in analyzing sales/inventory data and assisting the team in predicting customer needs

Minimum Requirements – Degree in business or work equivalent

Experience in both operations and office environments, outgoing personality with eagerness to assist customers via phone and email

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with focus in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Skilled in problem solving techniques, highly motivated

Innovative mindset which captures the entrepreneurial spirit

Excellent time management skills with the ability to problem solve and with strong decision making talents in a fast-paced environment
