Delivery Driver Farmingdale Meat Market / Main Street Wholesale Meats, Family owned and operated since 1946, is now hiring delivery drivers to join their team! Job Summary: Our delivery drivers are the face of our company. They are responsible for promptly delivering customer orders while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality oriented and demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a fast paced work environment. Reliability, strong work ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency are a must.
Because the work schedule is based on a 7 day/week operation, workdays and start times may fluctuate from week to week based on production. Ability to work weekends is a plus! General Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of product on assigned routes Review orders prior to delivery Loading and unloading trucks Unload goods for customer specifications Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer Farmingdale Meat Market, Inc. reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Job Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: One to three years minimum or related experience Valid Drivers license Ability to work weekend shift Ability to work on call Ability to lift 50 pounds Skills: General knowledge of meat products a plus Knowledge of Long Island and New York roadways Bilingual a plus FARMINGDALE MEAT MARKET, INC. is an equal opportunity employer.
