Role Overview :

We’re looking for the right person to join our Finance team based in Farmington, Connecticut, someone who’s ready to help us deliver on our commitments today and develop global processes to sustain flexibility as the business needs change. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support the Otis World Headquarters (WHQ) Corporate Controller Organization.

On a typical day you will:

• Manage the accounting aspects of the FWG process which support WHQ strategies and initiatives including cash management, repatriation and management of the effective tax rate

• Ensure Quarterly SEC Reporting compliance and implementation of new requirements as applicable

• Drafting of Financial Statements, MD&A, Press Release and Webcast in Workiva

• Direct / prepare Statement of Changes in Equity

• Direct / prepare Statement of Comprehensive Income

• Direct / prepare AOCI Footnote

• Oversee cash flow reporting

• Ad-hoc requests and special projects

• Opportunities to lead projects and manage technical areas

• New roles and responsibilities as we continue to define and standardize across the Controller’s organization

What You Will Need to be Successful :

Education / Certifications

• B.S. in Accounting

• CPA or MBA a plus

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of related accounting and/or SEC Reporting experience required

• Experience with Workiva, JDE, and Hyperion Financial Management a plus

• Candidate should possess strong communication skills with the demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of Controller's Dept. and other staff and management, including supervisory roles
