UHY Advisors MI, Inc Accounting Due Diligence Senior Associate (Multiple Openings) in Farmington Hills, Michigan
Apply accounting principles to analyze client financial information and generate appropriate accounting and financial reports and recommendations. Review prospective engagements through due diligence and applying knowledge of all technical aspects of accounting. Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy and completeness. Maintain appropriate compliance with all statutes, regulations, and all Firm-wide and local office policies and procedures. Develop standards, practices, procedures, and templates. Provide transactional support for capital raising, restructuring, and traditional sell-side investment banking transactions and strategies. Follow regulations and professional ethics standards appropriate to the accounting discipline, including AICPA. Ensure top quality client service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor -- Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related technical field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree. Experience: Four (4) years in the position above or in a related accounting or transaction services role;
Experience must include:
- GAAP and IFRS
- Valuation methods and deal structures
- Financial statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and income statements
Location: Various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; Telecommuting permitted.
