We are looking to hire a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to assist in the accounts receivable process of our company. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around billing customers, processing payments, managing invoices, and maintaining accounting records.

Responsibilities:

• Post daily receipts and update customer files.

• Process invoices and issue them to customers.

• Perform account reconciliations regularly and resolve any discrepancies.

• Maintain and update customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.

• Processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

• Update receivable ledger, and keep track of clients who are overdue on their payments.

• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve invoice disputes and clarify account discrepancies.

• Assist with month-end closing processes.

• Support financial auditing processes when necessary.

• Ensuring all transactions are compliant with financial policies and procedures.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. An Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is desired.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with relevant software (e.g. QuickBooks).

• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• Good mathematical skills and the ability to work with numbers.

• Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and resolve issues.

• Ability to handle confidential information.
