Automated Building Management Systems Inc. CONTROLS PROJECT ENGINEER in Floral Park, New York
Design of electrical and control systems for Building’s mechanical equipment and applying knowledge of electronics, computer, telecommunications, system controls, product engineering and mechanical systems. Establish written standards and procedures for building automation system software development, communication, and documentation. Understand Control system programming, communication Protocol Integration and setup for Building Automation Systems (Function Block/Visual Logic, HTML5, BACnet / Modbus/ TCPIP Networking). Control Strategies programming using BMS programming (ladder Diagram, functional block Diagram, Sequential Flow Chart, Continuous Function control etc. Create powerful, dynamic and interface intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUI), System Overview Page, Configuring Alarms, Schedules, Reports, Trendlogs on Alerton’s latest Ascent Compass Building Automation Software enabling users to monitor and control their facilities from anywhere, at any time. Interpret each project’s sequence of operations as provided, developed in writing by Project Engineering and create controller code to implement the sequence. Provide written documentation focusing on HVAC Efficiency and Energy efficiency utilizing various energy savings control strategies on projects. BMS Hardware/Computer Software Installation, Configuration, and setup. Provide training to the client. Knowledge of BACnet / Modbus/ TCPIP Networking, BMS programming and Microsoft Office required. The salary range is between $70,000 to 95,000 per annum.
