Transhealth Clinical Technician (Medical Assistant) in Florence, Massachusetts

FLORENCE PLEASE SEE WEBSITE FOR FULL JOB DESCRIPTION Description The Clinical Technician [Medical Assistant] is a clinical role in the Primary Care or Mental Health Department, and reports to the Nurse Manager if Primary Care, or the Mental Health Director if Mental Health. This position is hourly [non-exempt], full-time, and on-site. The Clinical Technician is responsible for aiding our clinic in providing exceptional adult primary care, pediatric primary care, and mental health services to gender-diverse patients. Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Two years of relevant experience in a primary care, mental health, or other healthcare setting is preferred CMA certification is preferred but not required Experience with a busy environment, requiring strong multitasking skills is required Past experience working with transgender/gender-diverse community is a strong asset Excellent interpersonal communication and skills whether in person, via the telephone and/or in writing Able to work well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
