Our client, a local truss manufacturer is seeking a Saw Operator to join their team. As a Saw Operator, you will be part of a team responsible for the set up and operation of a single blade saw.. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, commitment to safety, and a team focus which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Saw Operator

Location: Folkston, GA

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

What’s the Job?

• Reads production scheduling sheets and identifies required material.

• Ensures lumber/wood material meets quality specifications (grade, size, moisture content, etc.).

• Feeds, offloads, and stacks material (lumber/wood).

• Completes pre-shift/startup inspection of saw equipment.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum 3 months experience using saws or similar equipment; some experience in manufacturing and assembling is preferred.

• Working knowledge of basic math.

• Ability to read a measuring tape and moisture meter.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
