Who we are:

We are a global team in the Client Graphics and AI organization responsible for layout integration, verification and tape-out of next generation, industry-leading Graphics/AI products for Intel. We cover all aspects of tool and methodology development, execution and delivery of final databases for manufacturing.

In this position, the candidate will be part of a dynamic, international team responsible for developing and supporting critical Layout Integration and Physical Verification Tools, Flows and Methodologies for construction and tape-out of Intel GPU SOCs and IPs (Graphics, Compute, Display and Media). They will be part of a Central Layout Verification TFM team which provides and supports Design Kit and Physical Verification runsets (Perc, DRC, LVS, ANT, FILL) based on latest process technologies on internal and external foundries used to create databases ready for manufacturing. Additionally they will work with EDA teams and Foundry PDK teams to obtain the best performance out of the EDA tools and runsets.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related STEM degree and 3+ years relevant work experience, or

Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related STEM degree with 2+ years relevant work experience in:

  • Advanced hands-on understanding and experience with using industry-standard layout verification tools for DRC, LVS and DFM

  • Experience with SoC level design and layout integration functions such as Powergrid/RDL/bump planning and package integration

  • Strong scripting experience in Python, Perl, Tcl or similar languages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in PDK and runset support and/or development

  • Experience in tape-out of products on advanced process nodes

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,419.00-$185,123.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
