Who We Are

We are looking for candidate to join the Graphics Simulator development team to work on building a performance/functional simulator for Xe Graphics (the largest IP in any intel SOC). Performance and Functional simulation are a critical tool for architecture exploration and providing a reference model for validation and early development of software stack of the GPU. In this position, you will be responsible for design, coding, validation and performance analysis on the GPU simulator. The job will involve intense engagements with GPU architects, RTL and software development teams. As GPU use-models expand into new areas of Deep Learning, Machine learning, Media servers, Augmented/ Virtual reality, etc - this position offers unique opportunity to impact these emerging application areas.

Who You Are

In this position, you will be responsible for design, coding, validation and performance analysis on the GPU simulator. The job will involve intense engagements with GPU architects, RTL and software development teams.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar STEM degree and 3+ years’ experience, or

Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar STEM degree and 2+ years of experience

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

  • Programming and debugging experience in C++ or System C

  • Familiar with scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GPU compute/3D graphics understanding, In-depth knowledge of Computer Architecture

  • Prior experience in performance modelling/analysis and Simulator development is desirable.

  • Familiarity with ASIC design flow, validation concepts, coverage, etc. is desirable.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $106,231.00-$159,109.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
