Job Title: Network Administrator

Location: Fond du Lac, WI (Hybrid)

Salary: $80,000 to $95,000/year

Job Description:

Robert Half Technology is searching for an experienced Network Administrator for our client in Fond du Lac, WI. This role will require travel to different company locations within Wisconsin. As the Network Administrator, you will keep all networks, computer systems, and equipment functioning optimally. You will be involved in implementing new technologies and upgrades to boost efficiency and productivity. Interaction with management, IT staff, and vendors to ensure top-notch performance of the IT infrastructure. Utilize your tech skills to be the bridge between the Facilities and the Corporate team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice on infrastructure issues and manage external resources to address those needs.

  • Collaborate with Network and Systems Engineers to implement changes.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot networks and systems including software, servers, VPNs, routers, and more.

  • Deliver technical assistance and training to users on various IT applications.

  • Conduct regular computer inventory audits at facilities.

  • Monitor network performance and rectify any issues.

  • Act as technical liaison between sites and company's IT Team.

  • Assist in the configuration and deployment of PC related equipment as per company standards.

  • Stay updated and follow the industry's best practices.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in computer science or a related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years of PC/Network support experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft client & server OSes and related technologies.

  • Familiarity with networking technologies (TCPIP, wireless, OSI, etc)

  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, & Microsoft administration.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience with hyperconverged computing and virtualization technologies.

  • Experience with Meraki wireless, Palo Alto Firewalls, HPE/Cisco networking, and SD-WAN technologies.
