U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in Fort Eisenhower, Georgia

Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. Responsibilities Advises on matters concerning effective and efficient distribution of resources, with emphasis on continuity of overall resource program. Prepares reports and briefings on study results, and makes recommendations to CCOE schools, principal staff, the CCOE Commander, and TRADOC functional staff members. Exercises discretionary authority to approve the allocation and distribution of funds in the organization’s budget. Advises, counsels, and instructs those supervised on work and administrative matters, and identifies, provides, and/or arranges for necessary development and training. Incumbent is accountable for executing the Division’s mission within resource constraints. Work is evaluated in terms of meeting objectives. Interviews civilian candidates, develops performance standards, and recommends civilian appointment, promotion, and/or reassignment. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe One Year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1. Advises the Director G-8, Principal staff and the command group on resource planning and programming policies and procedures to optimize the use of resources in accomplishing the command's mission with regards to annual Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development or budget formulation for an organization. 2. Manages mid- and long-term studies/projects pertaining to resource management practices and operational plans for the command. 3. Coordinates the workload for the division (i.e. assign work, sets goals, advises, instructs supervisors/leads, arranges trainings, resolves complaints, and develops performance standards). Providing guidance on resource planning policies and requirements. 4. Represents Division concerning resource planning and programming at TRADOC and other army forums for the command. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
