Program Summary

As part of the LOGCAP NORTHCOM scope, KBR provides rapid response support to scheduled and unscheduled U.S. Army training exercises. KBR’s LOGCAP team successfully completed another year of support to Warfighter operations by providing typical LOGCAP services at two locations.

Job Summary

KBR is currently seeking a Logistics Warehouse Foreman for a temporary position from May 15th to August 20th, 2024. Based in Fort Knox, Kentucky, this role requires a commitment of at least 70 hours per week.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you'll be responsible for receiving, and issuing rations in support of food service activities. Your duties will include warehouse layout planning, maintaining document files, and preparing necessary documents and reports. You'll also oversee inventory management, ensuring proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all food stores. You will be required to operate company provided vehicles to include large box trucks. Working under general supervision, you'll provide leadership to establish organizational structure of food service warehouse personnel. You will supervise and provide the direction necessary for successful service execution. You'll evaluate service execution for compliance with schedules, and quality standards, while keeping your team informed of any updates to safety rules and procedures.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant documented experience working in military Class 1 operations.

  • Proficiency in ordering government rations through the AFMIS program, with demonstrated experience in effectively managing and executing such orders.

  • Coordinates the organization's daily logistical operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution.

  • Excellent communication skills, team player, computer skills, MS Office, Excel, Lync, etc.

  • Working knowledge of relevant publications, including DA PAM 30-22 and FM 10-23. Familiarity with Military (Tri-Service Food Code/TB Med 530) regulations and policies governing food storage.

  • Proficiency in receiving rations and materials against receiving documents.

  • Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts (material handling equipment experience is a plus).

  • Ability to manage shelf-life material effectively.

  • Competence in performing Cost, No Cost, and Production Transfers.

  • Skill in routing rations and materials to assigned storage locations.

  • Capability to store, stack, or palletize rations and materials in accordance with procedures.

  • Aptitude for issuing material upon request, staging, and/or delivering to designated areas.

  • Adherence to prescribed inventory/storage methods and property handling procedures.

  • Possession or ability to obtain a ServSafe Certificate.

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. Possession of a valid driver’s license.
