Summary About the Position: Position located at US Army Cadet Command, HQS, RMID, Fort Knox, KY Responsibilities Apply skills to recruit and retain personnel. Assist with improving the training and professional development of Recruiting Operations Officers (ROOs) that oversee the Recruiting and Retention mission at their host and partnership campus locations. Provide day-to-day coordination of project activities designed to increase the Recruiting and Retention of Cadets. Perform duties as a member of organization Staff Assistance Visit (SAV) and Organizational Inspection Program (OIP) teams when required. Specialized experience is defined as: Work Coordinating and executing the initiatives that lead to the recruitment and retention of Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Cadets. Implement strategies that improve efficiencies; works programs, systems, policies, and initiatives to recruit and retain quality Cadets at numerous host ROTC programs and over abundant partnership and affiliated colleges of host programs. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: AccountabilityOrganizational AwarenessSpeakingWritten Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09). For this position you may qualify if your education meets the definition below: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
