Tsay Professional Services General Maintenance Worker - Electrical in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

Summary:

The General Maintenance Worker in the Electrical Shop performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the distribution or utilization of electric energy in quarters, building and other installation structures. Will assist Journeyman Electricians.

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in basic electrical skills.

Must have knowledge of and experience with voltages ranging from 120/208 up to 277/480.

Must have knowledge and experience with AC/DC, Voltage and Amp meters.

Must possess skills with basic power tools relating to the electrical field.

Must have knowledge and experience with different types of lighting fixtures

Must maintain a valid drivers license.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

:

Repair and re-lamp high intensity discharge, fluorescent, quartz, incandescent and other lighting.

Re-lamps outdoor and indoor lighting fixtures as required.

Work involves, but is not limited to, the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as kitchen equipment, fans, lighting switches, outlets, transformers, circuit breakers and panels, controllers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment.

Locate underground utilities.

Assist Journeyman Electricians as needed.

Employees are required to drive company vehicles on a Federal Installation.

All other duties as assigned by supervision.
