DESCRIPTION OF WORK The responsibilities in your role include maintaining and safeguarding the infrastructure within the Cowans Gap State Park Complex, such as roads, trails, and buildings. Your position would involve performing semi-skilled tasks independently or assisting skilled workers with routine maintenance and repairs. These tasks encompass various building trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, drywall/plaster, roofing, siding, flooring, and more.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Seasonal full-time employment without benefits. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday - Sunday, with 30-minute lunch. Workdays can vary due to operational needs. Weekends, holidays and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Class C non-commercial driver's license.
