Jacobs Joint Operations Center Subject Matter Expert in Fort Meade, Maryland

Your Impact:

Subject Matter Expert (SME) will serve as the government’s expert on execution of all operations within the Joint Operations Center (JOC) and must possess experience in guiding all actions on specific programs and projects relating to the JOC. This is a Key Position. Positions designated as Key are essential to the execution of day-to-day operations of the JOC in this Combatant Command Headquarters.

Responsibilities :

  • Extensive experience providing SME support, analysis, and research into exceptionally complex problems and processes relating to the JOC

  • Will serve as a technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.

  • Experience in independently developing technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

  • Technical expertise in USCYBERCOM functional areas (e.g., logistics, cyberspace operations research, joint operation planning, policy, technical intelligence)

  • In-depth knowledge on subjects relating to the activities, governance, business practices, and operation of USCYBERCOM

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communications skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Management, or related discipline

  • 10 years of experience working in a cyberspace JOC.

  • TS/SCI Clearance

  • Proven experience in strategic-level operations and problem-solving

  • Experience in communicating orally and verbally complex programmatic cyber planning information
