Job Description:

XVIII ABC Hub and Spoke MTCs provide individual and collective training on Army Mission Command Systems, using a variety of tools and Army fielded systems. These systems are used to support Small Unit Training: Squads through Company, Medium Unit Training: Battalion through Brigade, and Large Unit Training: Divisions and Corps in training environments ranging from Stability and Support Operations (SSO) through Unified Land Operations (ULO).

HOW the Intelligence Analyst Senior WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Performs analysis associated with the training development process. Must have knowledge of command / unit mission and structure, analysis techniques, Intelligence Systems, documentation research techniques, and interview techniques. Provides analytical subject matter expertise (SME) on the different types of intelligence in support of Mission Command training. Preparing intelligence reports and assessments, builds briefing materials for the supported military intelligence training audience or assist with construction Order of Battle training materials. Maintains working knowledge of various intelligence collection assets for US, friendly, non-hostile and enemy countries, knowing how they collect information and how these systems could be used to collect intelligence information. Position requires a sufficient level of knowledge to be able to draw inferences about the possible consequences of the situation, as well as sufficient awareness of the situation to predict future patterns, Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), and potential changes to current TTPs.

  • Must have experience within the Intelligence Warfighting Functional Area and have actively worked within the Intelligence Community (IC) in one of these occupational specialties: IMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT or All-Source Intelligence (preferred) with background in one or more of the Intel systems associated with the Intelligence Electronic Warfare Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT) system: the Tactical (or Common) Ground Station, the Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A){“family of systems”], Prophet, GuardRail Common Sensor (GRCS) or the Tactical Exploitation System (TES).

  • Position requires the ability to become knowledgeable of the WARSIM Simulation/WARSIM Intelligence Model (WIM), to include the integration of Intelligence functional systems in support of Mission Command training.

  • Must have a good working knowledge of all aspects of Military Intelligence functions/operations, ISR mission requirements, training, and planning, along with a knowledgeable understanding of connectivity and capabilities of all Military Intelligence Systems to include how, what they can, or will provide to the overall Intelligence Common Operational Picture (COP).

  • Instructs intelligence professionals on tradecraft and other issues.

  • Develops and/or refines courseware and curricula to meet customer training needs, establishing course content and objectives.

  • Design, analyze, test, and modify system hardware and software configurations to meet functional specifications based upon user requirements to support exercises and specific training events.

  • Tests new software and hardware compatibilities between the laptop and desktop operating systems as they are updated and released.

  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required to support customer requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Requirements:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or equivalent of years of relevant experience plus 6+ years’ experience supporting military operations

  • Required Experience: If no degree, minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience required

  • Security Clearance: Current TS/SCI w/CI Poly required

  • Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Performance of these duties requires exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance, within the framework of the approved Event Lifecycle Management (ELM) or Joint Event Lifecycle (JELC) process

  • Primary duties also require advanced knowledge and independent decision-making

  • Participates in and performs additional duties, special projects, emerging responsibilities as required/directed.

  • Location: Fort Stewart MTC. Normal work schedule is 0730-1600, may require night, swing or weekend work shifts depending on specific training event requirements.

  • Travel: May require occasional travel (less than 10%)
