We are working with a leading organization for kidney health and research, and is one of the largest nephrology physician practices in the US! They provide top tier physician care to patients facing kidney disease, supporting treatment plans for best quality of life. They have over 170 physicians and nurse practitioners supporting thousands of patients. Their demand continues to increase, and so is their staff at all sites, especially the Fort Wayne location.

They are looking for a Triage Nurse to support their Fort Wayne clinical team. We are looking for a Nurse that has practiced in specialty physicians groups and wants to apply that expertise to support the nephrology patients and physicians. This is an office based role that is day shift Monday-Friday with no weekend or holiday work.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Support 6-7 physicians daily with incoming clinical calls and messages, which would be speaking to 30-40 patients per day (call times range)

• Field calls as needed for best treatment support

• Answer comprehensive clinical questions for patients regarding their treatment plans and physician orders

• Build trust and rapport with patients and help them navigate the nephrology process

Qualifications:

• RN or LPN

• 2+ years of nursing experience in a specialty unit or physician office

• Any experience in Nephrology, Dialysis, or Cardiology is preferred
