Lockheed Martin Conventional Weapons Program Manager - Level 5 in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: This position performs project management for several concurrent domestic and international weapons development contracts on all F-35 variants. The position is aligned under the F-35 Development Weapons Program Management Office. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and coordinates between contracts management, integration team, engineering projects, planning and scheduling, and customers, both internal and external. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages detail and summary schedules, prepares and briefs status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Performs deep dive analysis on projects status as needed, briefing executive level personnel. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, integrators and customers. This position works with Business Management and Control Account Managers to identify, analyze, and rectify earned value (cost, schedule and risk) performance issues and metrics problems. This position includes the responsibility to ensure the correct scope and material are bid into proposals and ensure cost and schedule for existing contracts adhere to government-contracted timelines. This program manager will lead proposals to ensure new scope is baselined and scheduled, and will continuously monitor execution to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost reductions. This person will be able to communicate current status and issues to senior international and US government leaders.

This position requires infrequent U.S. and International travel.

This position requires an interim Secret Clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree or higher

- Weapons Integration, Project Engineering, or Program Management experience

- Professional work experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
